Tonight was his trademarked shot. Pitch down and away, took it to the opposite field. I too hope this leads him to getting his groove back!

Bud Norris for LJ Hoes?

Hmmm....I'll take it I suppose.

Josh Hader and the Orioles’ compensation pick in the 2014 draft. Hader is only 19 years old, although lefties seem a dime a dozen these days, and that draft pick next June may or may not pan out. But pretty much two other young pieces. If the deal had been just for L.J. Hoes, I'd have been disappointed. I like youth and draft picks, along with clearing out our highest-paid player ($3 million). His salary will likely spike to $6 and $8 million in 2014 and 2015 through arbitration.

But Bud Norris is a solid pitcher, much better than the numbers indicate or what people say.
It wouldn't shock me if he out-performs what Jake Peavy does with the Red Sox.

I'm indifferent atm. I think Norris is going to get smacked around in our little ballpark, but we already had two long-term OFs in Jones and Kakis, and a good starter in McLouth atm... Hoes was good trade bait, but I'm a little disappointed we never got to see what he was capable of on our team.

Well...We still have Schoop, Bundy and Gausman. I don't know what else to say right now as I'm never good with trades. We'll have to see how it plays I guess.

Agreed, just going to have to wait and see... although my gut-reaction is always to think we've been raped lol, since the team that's dealing almost always gets the better deal, especially in Orioles history when we're dealing.
