I think the cubs paid alot to get him, but quintana is an outstanding #3 or good #2, and with their young roster, they were in a great spot to make this move.

I guess you guys are right... outside lester, their core is making jack shit. Gives them a lot of options for the offseason. I think I was just more sold on other options. But with Lester, Hendricks, Quintana and any scrap of Arrieta playing well will be good for post season series. That offense just gotta click
