Showalter left Hunter in too long, then left JJ in too long (that's always been my only criticism of him). Yes, I know you don't want to embarrass or take away your closer's confidence, but he didn't deserve to be in there the way he was pitching, plus he had thrown a lot of pitches.

That being said, we left so many people on base that it shouldn't even have been that close to begin with.
