Just curious. Where are all these good teams that are slumping post all star break?

https://www.statmuse.com/mlb/ask/mlb-teams-record-since-all-star-break

Click it twice to sort it by worst record.

....

Braves, Orioles, Yankees, Guardians, Twins, Brewers, all playing around .500 ball.

Some have rebounded more recently to get to that slightly above .500 mark but overall top teams slumped around the same time. I think every MLB fan was aware of this?

A couple teams like the Padres have been on a tear though, but they weren't a "top team" before the break lol

Lol cmon man, the braves!? Please don't include them. Not one of those other teams you mentioned has played below .500 baseball. Yes you said they corrected, but the Phillies havent? And you didn't even mention the Yankees or dodgers who are on a tear.

Going 14-10 after the all star break isn't slumping

Going 9-16 or whatever the Phillies are is. And this started before the break.

Yankees on a "tear" but they're only 13-10 since the break..

And the Phillies OWN the Dodgers. One sweep and another 2-1 series win. 5-1 vs em this season. Just beat their ass in LA like a week ago lol

6th best record on the league but ok

Not worried about the dodgers. They still haven't recovered from Stairs

More like Shit Merrifield. Another terrible signing by the Phillies

Cast contract is ass. He sucks.
Merrifield 8mil and could barely make it half a season before being released
Aaron Nola is the highest paid pitcher on the team and he isn't even the first or second best lmao

Who is giving these awful contracts?

Merrifield was a big disappointment, but who cares that little contract they've already released and moved on. Not that big of a deal, it was worth the try with a player of his caliber.

Castillanos is a bitch, I agree. Streaky and has no place discipline. Smug attitude who doesn't think he needs to work on his game enough. He's talented but dumb. Kinda has that Ben Simmons attitude tbh.

Nola has been good as usual. Needs more run support recently. 4 of his last 5 starts he has left with at least a 2 run lead and received a no decision in all of them lmao.

Wheeler is Wheeler, no surprise he's among the very best. Christopher Sanchez is a monster and so is Ranger. This starting rotation is outstanding. Best ERA in the NL. Pitching overall this team has the 3rd best ERA in baseball.

Best record in MLB. No need to be negative. There probably won't be a single team crack 100 wins this season. The WS is up for grabs and it's hard to find a clear cut runaway favorite.
