Lawrie was great today, catching and throwing
Loup just let that one go, and loaded the bases prior to that terrible throw .. fuck
The bases weren't loaded. There was two on, and if he made that right it would have been two on base. Loup has been fantastic this season so even if this stings and cost us the game I can live with it.
The Jays have been incredibly unlucky this season, that can't continue. They're 7-11 right now but the Angels (Who had equally high expectations) have only won five games. People have to remember that last season the Tigers and Giants both struggled to stay around .500 untill August when they took off. The Jays struggles have come as a combination of cold streaks and extreme bad luck. It was mentioned today that the Jays are at the bottom of BABIP for both pitchers and hitters, which means that Jays hitters line drives/hard hit balls aren't finding holes and pitchers good pitches aren't finding gloves. That can't continue.
