Imo they can pull of a short rebuild if they nab a few solid prospects. Shop Cole and Cutch to compete again in like 3-5 years. I fucking hate it but without the willingness to pay players it is the only way to win a championship.

Meadows will replace Cutch. Glasnow and Keller are both capable of replacing Cole with Glasnow having a ridiculously high ceiling. Highest ceiling on the entire team tbh.

We need a power bat though. Hopefully Bell keeps improving in that area but Bell alone isn't enough. Polanco has 25 hr potential but the inconsistency and injuries ruined his last season. There are a few batters moving through the farm but no standout power hitters. Meadows has 20-25 hr potential. Will Craig has the potential but he hasn't shown any real progress towards honing in his raw power which is surprising with how advanced his plate approach is.

Ke'Bryan Hayes is still young and hopefully ends up filling out more and getting more pop in his bat.


If Yankees give up Torres for Cole I'll be the happiest guy in the world. They probably won't do it though.
