Howard getting hits is like catching lightning in a bottle anymore.

Sure, he has plenty of pop when he can get clean contact but lord majority of the time it's just pathetic anymore. I really don't want to see this guy go out his last season in Philly like this...

Walkoff HR the other day was nice and all, but damn.

He should have just kept walking off after that home run and never played again.

Neris is a player

Future closer stuff right there goddam.

27K's/4BB's in 16.1IP

Nick Williams, J.P. Crawford, Tommy Joseph all hit hr's today in the minors

world serious champions you heard it first

Nola 20 straight shut out innings. ERA went from 4+ back down to under 3.

Phillies with 6th shutout on the season, believe that is MLB leading. Would have been 7 if Neris didn't give a HR in the bottom of the 9th a few days ago.

Fitting that the only offense the Phillies got tonight was Howard's solo shot, to give them a 1-0 win.

I mean the guy is on pace for 35+ HR's and that's cool, but he's hitting .190 with a .255 OBP ROFL

1 HR every 4 or 5 games is about all we get out of him.
