why does baez never play

He just started like 3 games in a row. Cubs are pretty deep. I'm sure it's a matchup thing. And he will most likely come in this game

he started 16th and 17th, off the 18th and 19th

played the 20th, sat the 21st

played the 22nd and 23rd, sat 24th, sat 26th, rain out 27th, sitting 28th. hasnt started since the 23rd.


anyway, what are his matchups? i havent really noticed any pattern, but i also havent really looked.

pinch hit the 24th, off day 25th, he got 2 ab's on the 26th.

small sample sizes but he is hitting .238 against rhp(5h 21ab's) and .500 against lhp (2h 4ab's)

lastella was batting .364 exclusively against rhp which is why he is starting today with bryant in left

Dude I don't question Maddons decisions. I'm on board with whatever the hell he wants to do. I don't even think twice about it. Fuck if he started Ross in Center, Fowler at 1st and Rizzo on the mound I'm all in.

Lester looked dominant today.. got out of a huge bases loaded no out in the 7th without giving up a run.

seems like just about anybody is hitting better than soler for you guys right now
