Well, the Astros surprisingly won two out of three games against the Angels but at least we didn't sweep the series. The game tonight was nerve-racking with the Angels' filing an official protest and the Astros having a 5-3 lead in the top of the 8th, but since the Angels came back to win the game 6-5 it didn't matter.

The race for the 1st overall pick in 2014

1. Astros 10-25
2. Marlins 10-25

The Rangers are coming to Houston for three games starting tomorrow night and they should sweep this weekend series. I hope the Marlins can steal a game against the Dodgers. Their best hitter, Giancarlo Stanton, is due to return in two or three weeks.

Bring it on, Marlins! They think they'll get the first pick but it's going to be a long season.

They just said on the Astros' post-game show that the Angels' protest was officially upheld.

Had the Astros won this game, this game would have been replayed from the top of the 7th.

The MLB front office was already scheduling both teams to come back and play on a day off for both teams.

I'm so glad the Angels came back to win. LOL.

Maybe we can trade a couple guys before the deadline. I hope Miami doesn't trade Giancarlo Stanton when he returns from the DL. We have no chance to beat the Rangers in the next three games. But I doubt the Marlins will beat the Dodgers so we'll both be 10-28 going into the next series.

Miguel Cabrera leads all of baseball in hits with 50 right now. But the little Jose Altuve is right behind with 49 total hits. Altuve just turned twenty-three years old this week and should be a two-time all star this year. He's going to have over 400 career hits before this season is over. Can you imagine if he has a long and healthy career? It wouldn't be a stretch to say that he could surpass Craig Biggio's franchise record 3,060 all-time hits. Jeff Bagwell is second with 2,314. I think Altuve will definitely pass Baggy in career hits.

6-game hitting streak for Jose Altuve. 9th double of the year. Did Miggy get a hit yet? Come on Altuve, get that Major League lead.

50 hits in game number 36.

Oklahoma City Redhawks just won again. They are now 22-12. First place Triple-A team and doing the organization proud. I followed some of the game on the radio and they are more exciting than the Astros. Let's demote the entire Astros team to Triple-A and let the Redhawks play our Major League schedule.

EDIT: 10 games over .500 they are.

Go Redhawks! The Astros Triple-A and Double-A teams may win the championship this year.

Astros lost to the Rangers 4-2.

Marlins came back to tie the Dodgers 3-3 in the top of the 4th after being down 3-0.

Nice, come on fighting fish. Get that upset win tonight.
