oh ya forgot about that. they really need a base stealing threat in the lineup, would be nice if davis could play every day, wish he could bat something better than .250 or obp .325+

think lawrie could do fine as lead off when hes back... if bonafacio keeps hitting how he is lawrie will still have rbi chances, and thats a lot of speed 8-9-1. rasmus has decent speed too in 7 hole, unless hes bumped to 6 and derosa bats 7

im really confused... do you watch the jays? Lind hasn't been good since 09

and hes finally 100% healthy for the first time since 09. hes been hitting the ball hard since opening day, will start ripping doubles np soon

2011, 125 gp, 499 ab, 26 hr, 87 rbi, 56 runs scored, .251 avg .295 obp, not terrible numbers
2012, 93 gp, 321 ab, 11 hr, 45 rbi, 28 runs scored, .255 avg, .314 obp, not as good as 2011, but he did play through injury

total 218 gp, 820 ab, 37 hr, 132 rbi, 84 runs scored, .252 avg, .303 obp approx. i'd say this would be good production from the 5 hole.

i think they should keep him around. i think people expected him to repeat what he did in 09, and the bad year he had in 2010 people for some reason came to dislike him. of course your dh/1b could put up better numbers, but he's what the jays have for now. encarnacion won't do what he did last year, so should he be gone next year?
