Either way, I think its good that he was resigned, he provided a very solid replacement/bench role. He also played well as a pinch runner, I know his offensive numbers are pretty bad, but overall, you can't go wrong with a player who can give you some speed which we really lack the most.

I'm all for having Davis. Good for platoon OF/bench player and an awesome speed threat.

Probably not the best bat/fielder, but good enough for a fourth guy for sure.
He is also top 10 baserunnersin all of baseball based on adv metrics.

Yes, but I would not put it past AA to use him as the regular left fielder which I think is a mistake unless he ends up having a year like EE had.

At the time he was used as pretty much an everyday player last year, it was justified imo.
There really wasnt anyone else that you could justify over Davis.

Well sure, at that point the season was done. I have lost faith in the GM, truthfully. He can still convince me, but it will take some real movement on his part.
