6-14 record baby. We go for our "second series win" this season against Seattle tomorrow afternoon. Our other series win was two out of three against Seattle as well. I'm starting to love those Mariners, but only when King Felix doesn't pitch. LOL

The Astros looked great today winning 10-3. Only their second series win of the season (both against Seattle).

I wish they played the Mariners every game. Felix Hernandez can only pitch once every five games. 7-14 record. For now, they are percentage points behind the 8-15 Mariners in the standings but tied overall. Not sure if that's good or bad because I still want the 1st overall pick in the 2014 draft next year.

But the Astros next 20 games are brutal. They may be lucky to go 5-15 coming up in this stretch of games.

4 at Red Sox, 3 at Yankees, 4 vs. Tigers, 3 vs. Angels, 3 vs. Rangers, 3 at Tigers.

So yeah, they'll lose a ton of games again now that they're not playing the Seattle Mariners.

We may go 0-20 in our next 20 games. We can't even compete with Boston tonight.

We need to start doing what the Indians did in the Major League movie. The good news, we'll be back in business for the first overall pick in 2014.



Only bright spot. Jose Altuve had another hit tonight. 31 on the season already. He's been either tied for 1st or in the top 5 in hits all season long. I'm hoping he'll lead all of baseball in hits this season. He has a chance because his strike zone is so small and he's a great contact hitter.

Playing the Boston Red Sox is almost unfair. The difference in talent is alarming.

Easy four-game sweep for Boston. Should be 1:1 odds that they sweep.
