another dissapointing season, went to a few games at the start of the season and it was great but i couldn't even think about going to any during the second half to watch us consistently fail and have half our lineup out.

I personally like the way interleague is set up where we face every single NL East team for a 3 game series; and then the occasional random NL team (Rockies, Houston that one year I think...., etc)
I dont think its a great way at all to be factored in a teams win/loss record....but thats why you play baseball...doesn't take away though how much more fun it is to watch the Jays face different teams and not the same thing over and over and over...

Sob.

I don't mind interleague, just saying some years it can be more variable than others. Also I think we rotate divisions last year predominantly central, this year east, next year we play west coast teams with the exception of the Braves.

What are your thoughts about eliminating AL and NL altogether and combine them + have 4 divisions. Like the NFL

I don't have a huge problem with it -- would the DH rule just be arbitrarily applied to former NL teams?

I'm tempted to agree that the DH rule should go. However I don't think the league or the agents -- and probably at least half the players -- would ever want/advocate giving it up.

It is, or was, part of the game. They don't practice it at all so of course they will be totally ineffectual.
