Would be nearly identical to the rest of the AL east no?

Also, there will be e payroll increase I hear. :o

Nearly identical, but not. A good team like the Yankees don't play themselves, making there schedule slightly more tough than the Jays.
While for the Jays....it was like every single series it was a tough opponent except every once in a while we'll get the Twins or the Indians rolf.

Hopefully the payroll SKYROCKETS

That's an excellent point, I had not considered that.

Yes, let this thread die and lets stop defaming ourselves with this horrid team for at least a few months.

RIP.

No I'm serious. That is a very good point.

It also has me thinking about regional rivalries affecting inter-league schedules.

I'd rather have 3 extra vs the Mets as opposed to the Nationals this year. On consideration of Baltimore and the Yankees.

Look what happens when you bet against the Jays all season.

You get 40,000 FG :)

The big news story now is what happens with Farrell. Sounds like Boston is officially interested in him.

I personally like the way interleague is set up where we face every single NL East team for a 3 game series; and then the occasional random NL team (Rockies, Houston that one year I think...., etc)
I dont think its a great way at all to be factored in a teams win/loss record....but thats why you play baseball...doesn't take away though how much more fun it is to watch the Jays face different teams and not the same thing over and over and over...
