God damn, Peacock. Takes him 20 minutes and 31 pitches just to get out of the top of the 1st.

He gave up 1 run too. That may be enough for King Felix. Sigh...

Thought that was a nickname and then saw his last name is actually peacock lol

LOL, it's going to be a long season. We may lose 110 games. King Felix is looking electric early on. Has his A-plus stuff it looks like.

Brad Peacock. He used to play with the Oakland Athletics.

Jason Castro hits a meaningless two-out double with nobody on base after King Felix struck out Altuve and Fernando Martinez. Where was this big double yesterday afternoon with the bases loaded and two outs, down 1 run in the bottom of the 9th against Cleveland?

Castro is not a bad hitter but in the clutch he folds like a little school girl.

Chris Carter doesn't do jack in the clutch either aka two outs and runners in scoring position. His homers are always in non pressure-packed situations. We leave runners in scoring position even when we get them on base. It's frustrating to watch. Brad Peacock better not allow another run in this game. We'll have a chance if Seattle only scores one run.

Brad Peacock needs to be moved to the bullpen or demoted to Triple-A.

Kyle Seager two-run jack to right field. 3-0 Mariners in the top of the 3rd. And King Felix has 5 strikeouts in 2 innings so far.

LOL, I think that's the game but we'll see if the Astros show some pride and try to come back.

Jesus Montero two-run homer. 5-0 Mariners in the top of the 4th.

Brad Peacock: I've seen enough of this stiff. Time to call up Jarred Cosart to start in his place. Paying off the 300 FG I lost on the Astros. Hopefully the Rangers can win my 400 FG bet later tonight. I'm about to switch over to that game in about 45 minutes when it starts.

Jose Altuve is the only bright spot for the Astros this season. He has another hit tonight, just turned a sensational double play in the field. Altuve may lead all of baseball in total hits this year. He's a legitimate 22-year-old superstar and all star.

I can't wait until we surround Altuve with Carlos Correa at shortstop and Jonathan Singleton at first base. We're going to have the most exciting infield in the game, offensively and defensively. It will be the best 6-4-3 double play you can imagine. If we had drafted Derek Jeter with the first overall pick in 1992. A Jeter-Biggio-Bagwell trio would have been pretty damn sweet. Not to say Correa-Altuve-Singleton will be on that "Hall of Fame worthy" level but I have high expectations for all three players.

The Astros are so bad they can't even catch any breaks. Jason Castro on first base, no outs. Chris Carter hits a blooper to center field that Franklin Gutierrez dives for and doesn't catch. Gutierrez got hurt on the play and seems to be coming out of the game.

Castro didn't see the ball hit the grass and ran back to first base. The Mariners got the easy force out at second base. If the Astros were playing well, Castro likely sees it drop and makes it first to third and the Astros are in business with runners on the corners.

Instead, the Astros don't take advantage. That's the difference between a losing team compared to a winning team.

Kendrys Morales solo homer off Brad Peacock. 6-0 Mariners in the top of the 5th.

I guess Peacock's ERA has to rise over 7 or 8 (it's at 7.00 now) before the Astros take him out of the game, send him down to the minors, release him...etc... etc... He has no business pitching in Major League Baseball at this time.

No composure, gives up too many homers. He needs to develop much better breaking pitches. Sigh, another double off Peacock. This runner is his responsibility. Rookie manager Bo Porter is finally taking him out of the game.

Brad Peacock's game line: 4.1 innings pitches: 6 earned runs, 9 hits allowed (3 of them homers) and 1-1 strikeout to walk ratio.

He may end up with 7 earned runs allowed if this guy on base scores. But I had enough of this garbage. Going to relax, eat dinner, watch the Rangers game and maybe catch a movie later tonight. No wonder the Oakland Athletics gave up on Peacock. The dude can't pitch at all.

EDIT: 7-0 Mariners. LMAO. Peacock's final line is 7 earned runs allowed. But anyways, I had enough of this cruel comedy tonight.
