Lucroy is no longer the great pitcher framer he is... He's also been terrible defensively... The only thing he has going for him is his hitting, and for catchers it is pretty decent. But if you're talking about throwing out hitters he's been off to a good start this year, last year? Absolutely fucking dreadful.

I don't think the A's are letting him go though. I would like him as a cheaper option, but JT is far superior and have a better ceiling at this point in their careers.

He's on the DL, but that would only lower his trade value, plus my argument is that if you compare how much Stanton, Yelich went for... You gotta assume he's not gonna go for that much of a going rate, considering JT has requested a trade, and has told reporters during his DL stint that he wasn't pleased about the Marlins decisions.

I'm okay with Lucroy, but at this point maybe we should just stick with KP/Nido, and just wing it.
