The Berkman-less Astros will have their hands full tonight.

I'm afraid I'll lose my bet to you Benny, LOL.

If the Astros win, I'll feel more relieved and surprised mostly.

I don't know how we're going to push across a run or two off Tim Lincecum. He better not toss a no-hitter!

My only prayer for an Astros win is if Roy Oswalt can shut down a much improved Giants lineup.

I'm not sure on how Oswalt will do. He was injured for most of last year and had some nags in ST this year. We'll see.

He also gave up a lot of home runs the past two seasons but has still managed to keep his career ERA at 3.23. He's never had a losing season before, so I'm expecting a decent 15-11 season ( high-three ERA ) for him this year.

A lot will depend on his run support. Roy Oswalt led all of baseball in no-decisions last year. Houston's offense isn't very good and without Berkman they're going to struggle for the entire month of April.

Houston is also taking a gamble with their new-look bullpen. Matt Lindstrom and Steve Lyons ( new closer and set-up guy ) are replacing Jose Valverde and LaTroy Hawkins. I'm hoping both of those guys succeed otherwise it will be a long season.

A dominating performance out of Roy Oswalt tonight would be encouraging to see.

I'm ready for tonight's game!!!! Play Ball!!!!! I just hope the Giants don't kick our ass, LOL.
