Good thinking brah. Maybe instead of just doing that though you get a little sneaky and every time that the author uses the word "big" you use the word "huge" that way it is in your own words.
I have no problem with this if you are just trying new shit out. Its very similar to following a guide in the gfx section just saving time by doing the same repetitive things for you. But if you are selling it then I feel it needs to be 100% your own.
Taking ideas for a sig is different than taking the sig because you are making the entire thing your own way. For instance, my Sarah Chalke sig. I stole the idea from Scribbles but I have no clue how he did it so I did mine in a way where it looks similar. I don't know if we did it the same way or not.
