I like how we took Stroman right after they were saying that the Yankees fans were going that he feel to them, also from what i've been reading on him he seems like a high ceiling prospect. DJ Davis apparently is one of the fastest players in the draft with some pop can't really complain about that

What do you think of the two picks sim? Came back on jsp for the first time in months just to hear your opinion

DJ Davis is a typical Blue Jays pick. A toolsy guy with a ton of speed but has an advanced approach to go with the tools. He remind me a lot of Brett Gardner but a better hitter.

Stroman was an absolute steal. He can join the bullpen this year and be a legit contributor. Even if he doesn't end up starting, getting a end of the bullpen guy at 22nd pick is far more value than the average pick at that spot.

Thanks! Always appreciate your opinion. Hopefully the Jays give Stroman a legit shot at starting

Smoral is the rare breed of prep pitchers that show an advanced feel for the changeup. His fastball is average to fringe plus right now but there is still some projection left. He doesn't have much of a breaking ball at the moment so he profiles in the bullpen as a 2 pitch guy. He has an awfully high ceiling if he ever develops a decent breaking pitch though. He was a top 20 talent before an injury ended his season early.
