The Texas Rangers never lose any games. We've been playing great baseball for the past 25 games and still 10 games out. LOL, you can't help but laugh and tip your cap to the Rangers. They are a great organization. I'm not upset or anything with their great play this season. They played lights out the final two months of last season to win the AL west as well.

The two wild-card spots in the American League are still within grasp for the Astros but it's not the same. The division race is supposed to be special. We shot ourselves in the foot with that 7-17 month of April. Along with the 1-9 record in 10 games against the Rangers (5 of which were heartbreaking 1 run losses and a couple others by 2 runs).

If we had just won 3 or 4 more of those nailbiters with the Rangers the AL West would still be somewhat of a fun race.
We still play the Rangers 9 more times this season. I'm hopeful we'll go 5-4 or 4-5. At least give ourselves a shot at a wild card.

I still think the Astros have the talent to win one of the two wild-card spots in the AL this year.

I hope the Athletics are willing to deal Sonny Gray. I know he's horrible this year: 3-6 with a 5.03 ERA.
Dallas Keuchel is 4-9 with a 5.35 ERA for that matter. Both were Aces and top 3 in ERA last year.

Both can turn it around and become all-star, cy young caliber again. I still think Sonny Gray is special.
Especially if Gray could be had for less prospects right now. He'd be a nice trade acquisition next month.
