Lol, look at the ERA for our starters in 1996.
Mussina had the lowest, with a 4.81 ERA.

Orioles signed the top pitching prospect out of Korea. Kim sung yim. Supposed to be very good. Throws 90+ at age 17 and has very good projection.  They Mentioned it at fan feat but noone knew at the time what te hell he was talking about

Orioles Release OF Kyle Hudson

By: Tucker Blair
Published: January 23, 2012 2:11 pm

The Orioles have released OF Kyle Hudson, according to Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports. He was designated for assignment earlier this month to make room on the 40-man roster for LHP Wei-Yin Chen.

Hudson, 25, has a career .276/.362./.314 batting line with zero HR in four minor league seasons with the Orioles. He hit .143/.143/.143 last season with the Orioles in 28 at bats.

Hudson was a 4th round pick out of  Illinois in 2008.

Not sure why he was released. I know he's weak, has no power, only hits singles and steals bases, but why not just option or outright?
Was there something we didn't know about?

i dont know honestly. Maybe they just thought he was not good at all and not even worth taking up a spot. I have a feeling this means that LJ Hoes is destined to be in AAA at some point early in the season (as an OF obviously)

Probably.

In other news, I am quite intrigued by the 4th OF battle.

Jai Miller
Matt Angle
Endy Chavez

It's going to be quite the battle... go with speed + power or speed + defense?
