According to Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun, the Orioles turned down an offer from the Braves for Adam Jones earlier this month.
The Braves reportedly offered Martin Prado, Jair Jurrjens and a pitching prospect, but it apparently wasn't enough to pry Jones away. The 26-year-old center fielder earned $3.25 million this season while batting .280/.319/.466 with 25 home runs, 83 RBI, 12 stolen bases and a .785 OPS. His salary could approach $6 million in his second year of arbitration. Connolly doesn't expect the O's to move Jones unless they get a frontline starting pitcher in return.

I am not mad, I have already stated this trade does nothing for us
Here is what i said earlier on twitter:

Quote
The Orioles could sign Edwin Jackson, still have Adam Jones, and have essentially of done the same thing as the trade for Prado/Jurrjens.

Martin Prado 2011 fWAR: 1.6 Robert Andino 2011 fWAR 1.8

It's just a trade that does nothing for the Orioles. It does not help them in the long run.

Jurrjens/Prado gives the Orioles a couple more wins. That is it. They still will be in last place with or without them, and not contending.

My final thought on the Jones/Prado/Jurrjens trade. Orioles most likely think Jones has growth left in him. Jurrjens/Prado are what they are

So i really don't see how the Orioles are dumb. This trade helps NOTHING.

Orioles Interested In RHP Hisashi Iwakuma

By: Tucker Blair
Published: January 2, 2012 4:45 pm

The Orioles are interested in another Japanese pitcher, RHP Hisashi Iwakuma, according to mlbtraderumors. The Mariners are also known to have interest in Iwakuma. The Athletics presumably would have interest as well, since they originally won the posting for Iwakuma in 2010.

Iwakuma, 30, pitched for the Rakuten Golden Eagles in 2011. He posted a 6-7 record in 119 innings pitched, with a 2.24 ERA, 6.8 K/9, and 1.4 BB/9. He also battled shoulder injuries, which is why he was limited to only 119 innings.

The extent of the Orioles interest is not known, but Iwakuma would join a club with plenty of rotation competition if he indeed signed with them.

What are your realistic expectations for Matusz this year, Tucker?
