I hope we don't get hot with this win and go on a roll. I still want the 1st overall pick in the 2014 draft next year. Three 1st overall picks in a row (Carlos Correa last year, likely Mark Appel this year and whoever next year) will be the cornerstones of our team along with Singleton, Altuve, Springer, Ovando, Santana and DeShields. We're going to be stacked and competing with the Angels, Rangers and Athletics in a few years.

It's gonna come down to us and the Marlins for the 1st overall pick for next year.

I'd love it, its someone else to build around so we will be a juggernaut in about 4-6 years.

We called up Paul Clemens yesterday. I hope we call up Jarred Cosart some time this season.

Our starting rotation next year should be Cosart, Appel, Harrell, Norris and Clemens.

He'll be over 400 career hits after this season if he stays healthy. Which is why I think he can surpass Biggio's 3000 hits. He's still way young and has a long career ahead of him. He's a one time all-star already also.

he's capable. i wouldnt put it past him if he stays healthy.

im happy to see carter's bat coming alive lately. did you see his triple against us ? he hit the ball 400 feet to center in your ballpark and made it to 3rd pretty easily.

he moves well for a big guy with nice pop in his bat.

i drafted him late in fantasy, expecting 20-25 bombs. he'll get that easily if he gets the appropriate PA's.

he strikes out a lot but he actually settled in and became a more patient hitter in oakland as he got more comfortable/more playing time.

4th hit of the game for Jose Altuve. He's 4-for-5 with 4 RBIs, 2 runs. Hey may bat again in this game and have a chance at 5 hits.

14-2 Astros in the top of the 6th. They added a run back that Seattle got in the previous inning.

Altuve will definitely bat again unless he's taken out of the game to rest.

Chris Carter with two home runs last night. I think he's going to lead the team with 30 this year.
