I do like what the Phillies have done this offseason, and landing Harper would be a great finishing touch.

But hes signing with the White Sox same as Machado. Even at 60M for those 2 guys this season, the Sox Payroll would be projected around $154m, or less then the Phillies with Harper on their books lol.


All kidding, Sox wont do shit this year, but I wish Reinsdorf opened up the checkbook for Harper/Machado/Kuechle Stayed under 180m for the next 5 years and went balls out with player opts after 4 years.
