But he was one of the faces of the game as well. He was an ambassador for kids in latin america and the southeast us. He interacted with fans unlike any other player. He had an impact very few did.

Its brutal. He may have been the single most important player for the future of baseball. He had the outgoing but positive attitude theyre looking to promote, he stood for latin america and kids in less than ideal situations, and he just loved the game and showed it.

Im a cardinals fan so ive been through darryl kyle and oscar tavares, but this one means more.

This about sums it up.. we just lost someone that was a huge role-model for what an athlete should be.

he should win it though he did more for his team then scherz imo
