Because that was a given. The Phillies can't play small ball. They don't manufacture runs. They rely on streakiness. And hot streaks always seem to dissipate in the playoffs with these bums.

So how are we blaming starting pitching.

This offense, which should be great on paper, disappears for stretches in the playoffs.

Phillies have scored 2 or fewer runs in 4 of their last 5 playoff games.

Starting pitching has not been that bad lol. The bullpen has been AWFUL though
