The Marlins pitching staff is basically me all those times I failed on D2jsp. Show some pride and stop getting embarrassed.
In junior high I had a bully named Casey. He made my life a living hell every day. But my freshman year in high school.
I was up to 6'3 and close to 250 pounds. People were calling me Ryan the Rhino. I body slammed Casey and sat on him.
He started shouting in pain and crying a little bit. My history teacher broke us up. After that day he never bothered me again.
Anyway. Congrats on the Mariners beating the Yankees 3-2 to avoid a sweep. Astros have to sweep the Angels in this four-game series.
The Mariners face Jacob deGrom at Arlington tomorrow. Will the Rangers show up at home? deGrom is still a beast on the mound.
This will be the Astros' toughest postseason road ever if they clinch the AL West. Wild-card round vs. Twins/Tigers/Mariners.
And then they'd have to get by the stacked Guardians in the ALDS. Probably face the juggernaut Yankees in the ALCS also.
Whichever American League team makes it to the 2024 World Series. Good news: Only have to beat one of those elite NL teams.
Even though I predicted the Astros vs. Phillies in the 2024 World Series. Just give me the Astros vs. Dodgers. So many fun storylines to be had.
I'm sure Shohei Ohtani and that Hall of Fame Dodgers lineup will be all the talk. But the Dodgers traded Yordan to the Astros. He'll be their daddy!
I could also see Jason Heyward come through in the clutch. The Dodgers gave up on him and let him go shortly before the Astros had signed him.
