I'm ready for the NBA free agency negotiations to start on July the 1st. Playing the new Diablo II hardcore ladder season starting on Tuesday will bridge the gap from now until then. Too many rumors leaking out about the Rockets making a hard push for Dwight Howard, Chris Paul and Josh Smith -- trying to land two of them. But until July there is no factual evidence regarding the rumors. General manager Daryl Morey is not allowed to talk about it until July the 1st.

This is going to be the summer Daryl Morey is finally able to make the moves he wants to. Ever since he took over as the Rockets' GM he had to deal with Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady both falling apart due to injuries. Now he's in position to pair James Harden with another superstar or two. He has a chance to transform the Rockets into a legitimate NBA title contender with a big summer.
