main reason I was happy to see Houston join the division was the 7:00 PM start times

The Astros start this 9-game road trip at Seattle, Anaheim and Oakland. LOL, these late games are weird because they end close to midnight.

The Astros and Rangers should both be in the AL Central or NL Central.

Safeco Field looks beautiful in HD TV. Wow looks nice. I hope Chris Carter has a big game hitting third tonight.

3-0 Mariners after 5 innings. I doubt we'll score much less win. This is frustrating to watch. 1-6 record. Will we win another game this season?

Of course we will win another game lol... theres still 155 of them after this so i certainly hope so lol

We out-hit the Mariners 7-5 but couldn't get any timely hits. Just a lack of execution and patience. We don't do enough to give ourselves a chance to win.

It seems like every time we get behind on the scoreboard, we panic.

Jose Altuve and Justin Maxwell are the only two consistent everyday players. They play hard offensively and defensively. Everybody else needs to be weeded out and upgraded -- we have their eventual replacements in the minor leagues. Although Jason Castro at catcher has some promise offensively but he has a weak arm when trying to throw out runners. I'm glad we called up Paul Clemens from the minors. He'll help our bullpen.
