the more i think about it we probably don't need to sign any reliever other than a minor league deal + spring training invite this offseason

johnson / gregg / patton / rapada / strop should all be in the pen.

simon/arrieta - one of them will definitely not be in the starting rotation unless they really fuck this offseason up or we are hit by injuries in spring training so one of them can pitch out of the pen, perhaps both.

rvh / bergesen / jo jo - one of them can be the long reliever

so yeah, give out a couple st invites but other than that no need to guarantee any money to any relievers to big league contracts this offseason.
