I would love to see a better replacement, but yes I am alright with what we have. Yes, both of them have terrible averages, but they have homerun power and excellent defense. Look around the league right now, there are only like what 15 players in each league hitting over .300?? It's a pitchers year and the Red Sox have one of the lineups in the MLB. They have less weak spots in the lineup than almost any other team. As far as the starting rotation, who is available? I don't like Richards at all, but as far as the rest of the rotation? Eovaldi is solid. ERod and Pivetta have been inconsistent but have nasty stuff and I do believe they will get better as the season goes. Adding Chris Sale to that rotation, if he can be even a shell of himself, yes I think we'll be fine.
