I like the giants lineup from top to bottom, Would def have them a bit higher.

I don't think the Rangers will be as good as the second half either, We were one of the worst offenses in the first 2 months of the season.
Were way too lefty dominant, Would love to see J upton on a 1year/15 million deal or something

30 teams in baseball would love seeing upton on a 1yr/15mil deal

but that isnt gonna happen. if he goes 1 yr, itll be 22+mil, and im damn near 100% confident he isnt gonna take one of these 1yr bridge deals.

someone will pay him eventually.

I think I would be pretty shocked if he got 1 year 22+ million. I can't remember the last time a position player signed for a 1 year 20+ million bridge deal.

Obviously the PED thing was huge but when Nelly Cruz signed his bridge deal it was 1 year 8 million a couple years back.

He didn't even make 15 million last year, can't see a team throwing 7-8 more million at him for 1 season.

2:44pm: Via ESPN’s Buster Olney (on Twitter), Davis will receive $17MM per season over the life of the contract. He will then receive $3.5MM a year from 2023 through 2032, then $1.4MM a year from 2033 through 2037. There will be no interest on that $42MM total in deferred money. The length of the deferrals in Davis’ contract is unusual, calling to mind the Mets’ 25 years in deferred payments to former star Bobby Bonilla. Obviously, though, their effect is that they reduce the present-day value of Davis’ contract, even though he will, in fact, receive a total of $161MM.

Ian Kennedy to royals for $70 mil/5 years

Seems like an overpay for a guy with an ERA over 4.00 for 3 of the last 4 years.
