I used to sneak those into the movie theaters all the time. I'd still do it but I feel guilty.

Fuck guilt, I stop by Walgreens before going to see a movie all the time and get the 3 for $3 boxes of candy. Same shit they sell at the theatres.

Do you think the Rockets have a chance to sign Dwight Howard? I'm not posting on the basketball sub-forum until free agency negotiations begin on July 1.

i doubt howard leaves. he wanted to be in the middle of a huge town. kobe said he's hanging up the shoes after next season and jerry buss is willing to open the checkbook. in 2 years he will be the face of the lakers. why would he go anywhere else?

Plus the Lakers can pay him a few million more than the rest of the league, if I'm not mistaken

Five years and $118 million compared to the Rockets' 4 years and $88 million. That's $30 million more.

But it can be worked out through a sign-and-trade deal if he still wants the big money and leaves the Lakers. Perhaps we will send them Omer Asik and whoever else to get a deal done. While Omer Asik is not Dwight Howard, he's basically a poor man's version and does the same things with less athleticism.

I agree with Shaquille O'Neal. If he really wanted to stay with the Lakers he'd have already re-signed by now. Why wait until July? Dwight Howard and his agent have all the power, but if he wants to make the most money and still leave the Lakers it has to be through a sign-and-trade deal. So maybe that is why he's waiting until July.

Also hearing there's a legit chance CP3 doesn't sign there now. It's wide-open. They'd have to hire a coach he likes, and even then...

Man, if Chris Paul doesn't re-sign with the Clippers that would really change the dynamics of the off-season. A lot of people just assumed Chris Paul would re-sign with L.A. and that Dwight Howard was the one likely to leave Hollywood.

The only reason I want Dwight Howard so much is because I believe if you pair him with James Harden that would be an exciting inside-out game. Sort of like the Rockets had with Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady years ago -- when they were able to stay healthy.

Josh Smith is another player that excites me. He'd be a nice fallback option (Plan-B) if Dwight does re-sign with the Lakers.

Dwight Howard, Josh Smith and James Harden were all bounced in the first round of the playoffs. These three guys aren't going anywhere alone. They have to team up with each other. Otherwise their respective teams will still be too weak as it stands.

Even if Dwight Howard stays with the Lakers they're strapped for the 2013-2014 season financially unless they amnesty Kobe Bryant.

Shaq would TKO him but then again he doesn't really throw a punch too well.
