heccevaria or however you spell his name is brutal. if he struggles to hit .200 in AA i'd hate to see how he would handle the major leagues right now.

Lind has no throwing arm, which is the reason he isn't the Jays left feilder. EE doesn't have good range or a good enough arm. Fielder is crap defensively, only reason he's not DHing is because he plays in the NL. If the Jays ever managed to sign him, he's DHing. AA said Hechavarria is ready for next season. They want him to have a full season in AAA. Only big name free agent we may be able to sign (Because Pujols doesn't match the route the team is going, Fielder would never want to DH) is Reyes, and thats still a long shot.



He's hitting like .500 in AAA right now through 10 or 11 games. They've also said at age 18 he had Gold Glove caliber defense, and that was 3 years ago. He just needs more pro expereince before he comes up, but he's one of the Jays best prospects easily.

.248 / .286 / .351 in 717 AA at bats. he's very clearly not ready to handle a job in the major leagues. his AAA sample size is not even one worth talking about, and he's already on his way back to earth. i'm sure he'll need at least another full season in the minors before he's even close to ready.
