Sucks that Davis is out for the year. I was really looking forward to him playing 1B for the rest of the season and finding out if he can finally figure it out.

At least we get to see Reynolds at 1B for the rest of the year though. Maybe they will look at getting a solid 3B this offseason and keeping Reynolds at 1B next season if he continues to impress defensively.

This is Josh Bell's biggest chance to ever stick with the team. I hope he does well but I'm not expecting much.

There isn't a better option in the minors to play 1B or 3B though.

oh i know there are not any better options. but the orioles fail miserably when it comes to this kind of stuff lol.
hopefully they do go out and find a solution to their corner INF spots.

Speaking of Josh Bell he now has 2 RBI's

I have some faith in him. He makes some nice plays at 3B but his main problem is his arm accuracy (just like Reynolds). He still has some pretty good power too.

i just dread him and Reynolds together on the corners lol.
both are essentially the same player besides the OBP that Reynolds offers.

Bell has nowhere near the power Reynolds has.

Reynolds has been great at 1B so far and Bell reportedly looked amazing at 1B in ST. Reynolds actually has been much better since the ASG at 3B too.

yea Reynolds has been a much better player the second half. I am pretty happy with his development in the AL.
and yea Bell does not have reynolds power. I just need to see a little bit more from bell (as do the orioles) before i make a sound judgement on him

Well, the rest of the year should be his final test. Not sure who would even be available next season for 3B via FA or trade. Obviously Fielder at 1B would make me not mind Reynolds at 3B but we both know they aren't paying Prince.
