Sucks for Travis, but I think like Montero, this injury is a blessing in disguise... We will no longer have to keep waiting for him next year. I don't see him on the roster after this year... Too injury prone, and not even good enough to justify keeping him.

If Nido can at least show some semblance of hitting, KP and Nido should be our C going forward. Offense/Defense.

I cant stand Travis. His defense sucks, his bat is spotty and doesnt do anything to help the team. The guy can't even throw baserunners out at 2nd. Thats why guys run on us.

I hope we can find a more permenant replacement.

He was doing well towards the beginning of the season, and he's always been a plus in our locker room. Despite his below average height, and small stature, I liked him. I also loved the fact he was always supportive and positive despite our struggles the past two years.

Sigh... Oh well. I'm ready for Nido to become a complete defensive catcher. We honestly don't need him to hit, but I think him or Luis Guillorme, (shortstop who said he wouldn't mind playing catcher,) would be our defensive aces in the future.

I disagree when you say we don't need him to hit. We need everyone to hit and not rely on the long ball. I love that were not hitting as many home runs and driving in runs. That helps tons when we go into slumps with the long ball.

I didn't mean it like that. I always disliked our long ball philosophy. It was outdated, plus we relied too much on HR's, while leaving so many players stranded on base, or not getting the right hits necessary.

Of course we need Nido to hit, but as long as he can average enough, I don't see the problem. His defense is god-like, you'll see once he comes up. He has made some really terrific plays in minors.

I saw some in spring training a bit. I just hope we keep working wonders.

No attack made at you of course. I'm just skeptical because were met fans. Its our job to be like that :D

Man oh man, there is something about this team. Mickey once again was masterful with his use of the bench/pen.
