Yeah totally. But I would expect there could be a possibility of the other families involved suing his estate.

How can they if they don't even know who was driving...?

I don't know why this had to be made public. Don't see the point in the media reporting it. Is it supposed to take away from his tragic death?

Presumably, they are thinking that releasing that information would discourage the kids who looked up to him from using cocaine. The media reporting kept reiterating that apparently he was sort of a big deal to the Cuban community.

I'm not saying I agree with their decision to release it. But I will say that knowing about the circumstances surrounding Len Bias' death did affect my personal decisions regarding cocaine use. His death sparked a change in how cocaine was perceived nationally.

The alcohol would have a much larger effect on someone's ability to drive. It really isn't even close too.

It isn't like he OD'd. Reckless drunk boating killed him.

When you are under the influence of cocaine, alcohol doesn't even enter the equation. I can drink 100 beers and not be drunk if I'm doing some lines, so the coke must have ran out or wore off imo if your going to blame drinking for the crash.

After toxicology
2 of them were drunk with cocaine, 1 was sober..
Pretty sure the sober one was driving just from common deduction, but who knows.
I personally don't think a sober person would let a drunk/coked up dude drive.

I enjoy the finer things in life as much as anyone else, but I do think that this should have some impact on his legacy post death. It's a shame, he was still a hell of a guy and ball player but I don't think the MLB could support someone who was drinking and using drugs.
