He was a top 100 talent as a hitter so it isn't the worst thing in the world. Just that huge overslot bonus is looking really really bad right now lol. Its not surprising in the slightest though. Kid didn't get on the mound until his senior year of HS.
Also heard that his swing has gotten a bit long after taking off so much time from hitting.
