The Orioles have come to contract terms with their sixth-round pick, high school third baseman Nick Delmonico from Knoxville, Tenn.

The word comes from Delmonico himself. He just said on Twitter:

"Thank you God for Leading me... I will always be a Georgia Bulldog but now I'm a Baltimore Oriole! #GodBless."

Delmonico was drafted with the 185th overall pick out of Farragut High in Knoxville and he turned 19 on July 12.

The Orioles have now signed 21 of their selections and now look to add first-round pick Dylan Bundy to the list. If they get Bundy, they will have signed all 11 of their first 11-round picks.

The 6-foot-2, 198-pound Delmonico played in the 2010 Under Armour All-American Game at Wrigley Field. He hit .450 in his high school career with 45 homers and 209 RBIs.

The son of former Tennessee baseball coach Rod Delmonico, Nick is said to have an advanced approach at the plate with excellent plate discipline.

He has one brother that currently plays at the University of Georgia and another that is currently with Rancho Cucamonga in the Single-A California League.

Delmonico did some catching in high school, but the Orioles project him as a corner infielder.

He had a college commitment to Georgia.

Seriously it's almost weird seeing them make this many good moves in a row.

Extending Hardy, trading Koji for Davis + Hunter, trading Lee to let Davis play 1B full time, signing Esposito + Delmonico.

Now, all they need to do is sign Bundy.

i have a feeling he is signed already. there is 0% chance they would let him by imo.
But it does feel good for once lol

Can't really answer that based off only seeing Davis for a few weeks.

both have amazing power, if Davis can learn to lay off the curves in the dirt, he could be a great acquisition
