why the hell would you want Heath Bell? Not contending this year and he is a FA after this season.... makes no sense unless they are swinging him elsewhere or just going after the draft picks.

cuz jays blew something like 17 games this yr... win at least half of those n jays r in it with redsox n yankees
They NEED a closer. if we dont get bell i hope we get him @ FA, even if it's a little overpay.... Rogers can afford it.

Getting Heath Bell isn't going to erase those blown saves. Your team is still 10 games back with just over 50 games to play.

sayin getting heath bell this season or next season will help us for the 2012 season which is the year they projected the bluejays are going to make the push.
padres are saying theyr okay with getting 2 supp draft out of bell. If we can pry him away n have better opportunity to sign him this off season, I think it should be done. They have the money to add onto payroll, about 30m space.
