bautista, toward the end of his slide (while still sliding), grabbed the 2b's foot while he was in the middle of his throwing motion

now, maybe the slide itself wasnt dirty, but im pretty sure grabbing a guys foot mid-slide while the fielder is literally in the act of throwing the ball isnt a clean play, and thats not debatable

forgive me for labelling the "slide" dirty, but it was a dirty play by bautista nonetheless, and it happened during his slide to break up a double play.

the point of my post was that it's not the first time he's done some crooked shit during slides, and against odor the slide itself was dirty. sure maybe the slide itself wasnt dirty against tampa, but thats literally just a technical way of putting it. he grabbed the dudes foot in the middle of his slide to break up a double play, nobody is going to say thats a clean play.

Any real baseball fan hates the new slide rules, his slide was fully legal last year the new rules a joke, it wasn't dirty it was a good hard takeout slide with Odor, just sadly it's not allowed anymore and it's a joke.

And basically every slide in baseball is controversial now lol
