even if they wanted to trade him, I don't think there is a team out there that could afford what it would cost to get bautista, you would pretty much have to give up ever good prospect you had plus more but I can't see them trading him, Toronto needs that one big superstar (like they had with halladay) to promote to the fans and they lucky found one but accident

Interesting; I doubt he would be traded under any circumstances because I think management has invested too much publicity into him as "the team leader" and so on. I think they are valuing his on the field production as much as his ability (perceived or otherwise) to draw people into the Roger's Centre.

Vouch.
I wouldnt mind as much as I love him, if he were traded since this is likely not going to continue for the rest of his contract.
So if we dealt him to a real desperate team, we could get a lot while he still has value.

Tie game. Good job Jays after the terrible start.

Nice win -- rough start though. Davis is really a one trick pony (as much as I love him), I am quite surprised he gets away with these back to back steals so consistently.

He's ridiculously fast. I didn't realize it till I saw him in person, if he got hit .280, he'd lead the leage in steals I'm sure of it.

Yeah I've seen it also, still seems when things can be predicated they get countered pretty quickly. Regardless, I am glad it is working so well for us.
