Sale just choked. It happens lol.
That was his first opening day loss/non quality start if I am not mistaken. Also, he allowed 2 HRs the final 88 innings of last year. Gave up more than that in less than 3 innings yesterday

And sometimes when guys are looking for that contract. They have that extra ambition. And play lights out Then after they get that fat contract. There natural hunger diminishes. Hopefully it's not like that. I've seen it happen to the Yanks way to many times! The list is literally endless

That's true too. Happened with plenty of Sox players. Sandoval and Carl Crawford def the worst.
