Yeah i'd take kinsler over pedroia in a heartbeat. Pedroia was garbage the last postseason he played (2017?) Automatic out everytime at the plate. 2016 ur right he was fine.

So was Boggy and our pitching outside of Price in pen....though they redeemed themselves b)
Pedroia had an injury excuse at least

I would take Kinslers bat atm too bro. I think its worth gambling on Pedroia though. Imagine if he can regain any form...fills up our biggest hole instantly.

I dont want to carry 3 catchers that cant hit again lol...

I'll have no problem admitting i'm wrong, i hope i am wrong about pedroia.

Yeah, swihart is kind of useless even though he can play multiple positions he's not stellar at any lol. I like vasquez and leon though, leon is a great catcher w/ price (not a great hitter unfortunately).

just saw this:

according to ESPN, the Red Sox are actively discussing possible trades of Sandy Leon. It is worth noting this will be challenging because of his $2.47 million salary this year.

why not try to trade Swihart? I think they may have tried to move him last year with no luck, not 100% though.

Maybe they still believe in him... I've lost faith
Hes never had a consistent opportunity though. Always in and out
I'm ok with Vasquez starting full time

Barnes/Brasier/Velazquez(middle relief) are good. Velazquez fell off at the end of the season because he was forced to start some games.
Workman/Johnson/Brewerwho? Disaster...........
Thornburg should be 100% healthy now, so I will wait to judge him.

After seeing what Barnes and Braiser did in the playoffs, I'm not worried about them at all. I think Braiser should be the closer, but it'll probably be Barnes.

i'm sorry but Velazquez is NOT good.

Barnes and Brasier are probably the 2 out of all of those guys i'm most comfortable with, the rest (Hembree, Workman, Johnson) can all be disastrous. yes, I don't know who Colten Brewer is either.

I heard Thornburg had a rough spring training. but that was weeks ago.

Ok, decent then. He had a tough August but was "solid" every other month.
2.6 ERA as a reliever who can eat up some innings isn't that bad...
Don't ever want him starting.

I don't really look into spring training stats. Don't think they mean anything.
