Pretty dumb to ever label a reliever as untouchable unless you are a contender. If someone offers a great deal for him you have to take it. He's a setup man for a team that will be lucky to win 70 games.

Unless they plan on signing Fielder, a 2B, a LF, and at least one good veteran starter next year while also getting another bullpen arm or two there is no reason to not trade him for a good package.

if anyone doesnt think the mlb has special treatment for certain teams then they are retarded.

Gregg and Ortiz both got 4 game suspensions.
Mike Gonzalez (lolwut) got 3 games for not even hitting a batter.
Showalter is suspended 1 game while francona gets ZERO games. WOW
Yet Lackey gets ZERO games fined for clearly and intentionally hitting 2 batters.

i dont even know what to say rofl, clearly this is bullshit and once again the orioles get screwed over.

It could be a great time to get rid of Markakis' salary depending on the offer for him.
I'd rather not trade Hardy or Jones. We need Hardy to bridge to Machado and Jones is the best player on the team. Extend both of them IMO.
Reynolds is discovering his power stroke now that he is more familiar with AL pitching but his defense has been pretty bad. Don't really care for trading him but if it happens I'd be ok with it as long as we get a good return.

Then again, if we can get a nice haul for Hardy or Jones and get some more top prospects for 2013 and beyond when Machado, Schoop, and Bundy are all on the team might not be the worst thing. Hopefully if they decide to tear it down and rebuild again they do it right this time.
