LOVE the Puma

He was a good sign for the Rangers. We have a better lineup than we had the past two seasons. I think we won't be "dead last" in runs scored this year. We have a pretty good one-two punch at the top with all-star second baseman Jose Altuve and center fielder Justin Maxwell setting the table. Its probably the best we've had since the Craig Biggio and Derek Bell days.

The problem is we don't have that superstar like Jeff Bagwell hitting third. Hopefully we will when Jonathan Singleton is ready for the majors. He got suspended for smoking weed but he'll be our everyday first baseman starting in 2014. Not this year.

Hey Ryan, did you happen to save my Astros avatar? The one that looks like Moofys/Crispers but with Astros logo? I forgot to LOL

I never saved it. LOL

Sweet. Rick Ankiel just went yard. 1-0 Astros in the bottom of the 5th. Ankiel can jack 'em deep just like Chris Carter.

We should start Chris Carter in left field, J.D. Martinez in right field, and have Rick Ankiel become our DH. We can use Carlos Pena at first base since his solid defense is the only positive he brings to the team. Brett Wallace can be a pinch hitter. That's the way things seem to be leaning but it's way too early in spring training to assume things.

Ankiel's best attribute is his absolute cannon (best in the league imo) of an arm. It would be a huge waste to DH him, need him roaming the outfield

Yeah true. Maybe have him in right field and J.D. Martinez DH'ing then. Chris Carter and Rick Ankiel have good power. Much better upgrades at the corner outfielder spots than what we've had in a long time. I still can't believe we stole Carter from Oakland. He was part of the Jed Lowrie trade. Carter is going to become my new favorite player. Moving Carter from first base to left field was a smart move by Astros management. He seems to be a good enough athlete to handle the new position.

Yankees just put up a 5-spot in the top of the 6th and now lead 5-1.

Melky Mesa just blasted a three-run shot for the Yankees. Jeez.

Grand slam for Brandon Laird!!!! Astros just put up a 5-spot in the bottom of the 6th.

Astros regain the lead 6-5.

LOL, my gosh. I forgot all about Laird. He may push Matt Dominguez for some playing time at third base.

7-5 now. Wow, the Astros are scoring more runs in this one inning than they will probably score all year. LOL

This 6th inning has been well over an hour long and it's still going on. Yankees are making a pitching change.

It was 1:05 when the 6th inning started. It finally ended and it's 2:22
