Well its not like the jays didnt get better either.
It will be a fun season to watch both our teams grow.
Eventually one of us has to beat to yanks and sox....right? lol
I would have to disagree with you.
In terms of of 'getting better for 2011'. You can argue we got worse.
If you are talking about 'getting better/better off/greater future potential that goes beyond 2011 (2012+)' then I would agree.
Off the top of my head: Lost Marcum, Wells, Downs, Gregg
I listed ones who made an actual positive contribution to the team. Obviously the benefit is that those guys mentioned above are now being paid pretty large sums of money right now that the Jays don't have to worry about.
We didn't get much over 2010 and I am kind of happy as well as kind of sad for that. This hopefully means a potential competing team in the near future.
I do however would at least to see the Jays put up some sort of competition like the Orioles are attempting to do by signing veterans like Vlad. There is no question that the team is a step-up from last year for you guys.
I felt the Jays could have done the same (Not for any great amount) but someone like Manny Ramirez would be fun to have.
