Morrow, baby! Hopefully he can get more support from his defense this game. He's a great strikeout pitcher.

The Blue Jays selected right-handed pitcher Tyler Beede with their first pick in Major League Baseball's amateur draft Monday.
Later, Toronto took advantage of its compensatory picks by drafting outfielder Jacob Anderson 35th overall, right-handed pitcher Joseph Musgrove 46th, outfielder Dwight Smith Jr. 53rd and right-handed pitcher Kevin Comer 57th.

Good win tonight, still not thrilled with Drabek's performance. Still, a win is a win. :)

I am a bit confused with the first couple of picks. Beede wasn't that high on most peoples boards even before he gave a letter saying he wouldn't sign.

From what I've read elsewhere Beede was an amazing pick if they can sign him. Shi Davidi said if the Jays can get most of their picks signed it'll be one of the best drafts ever for a team. So much top talent.
