I don't get it here though. 8 games up in the playoff spot, the guys that did the most damage to him coming up(McDonald, Scutaro), hasn't exactly been dominant last few innings, etc.

Could also say his pitch count is already up to 120+ now, but then again CC is a beast and can probably throw 200 pitches if he wanted to.
