It said teams are interested in both Cotts and Soria, but they're looking for 3-4 players in return for Soria.. Whom they have a 7m option for next year.

And apparently their appeal for Patton was that they think he's 'going to be the next Frasor' lol..

Ranger's are in a good position to deal Soria. Since we don't really have our backs against the wall we can ask for a lot.

Keep an eye out on the Rangers in the second half of the season. They will be one of the hottest teams in the league.

#1 draft pick, here we come!

is Mitch Moreland out for the year just like Prince Fielder? I was thinking they would get at least one first baseman back.

Yeah he went out with ankle surgery. Ofc they had to debate it for a couple weeks looking for another course of action, but ultimately he went under the knife.

That's a sign you're a bad team. When you are not getting enough home runs or RBIs out of your first baseman or DH. We've had that problem since Lance Berkman left. LOL. So I know what it's like. Four years and counting. In the AL especially. You're as good as dead meat without any sluggers. The funny thing is we have enough home runs (3rd best in AL) but not enough on-base percentage. Hitting a ton of solo homers is meaningless when nobody gets on base.

With the exception of Jose Altuve of course. The rest of our team is pathetic (OBP wise). I still think the Astros will claim the first overall pick again in 2015. The Rangers will end up with a few more wins in 2014. Texas is still a better team, IMO.

Rangers won and the Astros lost last night. Yeah buddy. We're tied again in the loss column for the worst record. 57 losses apiece. That first overall pick is going to be ours, along with the second overall pick. The top two picks in the 2015 MLB draft. Keep up the winning ways, Rangers.

LOL, there's seven teams, maybe eight if you include Boston, that could legitimately have the worst record though. It's been a down year for a ton of clubs. But seven teams are all within one, two or three losses.

Colby Lewis is on the mound today at Toronto. The Rangers lineup looks pretty good 1 through 4. Pick up another W today guys.

1. Shin-Soo Choo (L) DH
2. Elvis Andrus (R) SS
3. Alex Rios (R) RF
4. Adrian Beltre (R) 3B
5. Jake Smolinski (R) LF
6. Leonys Martin (L) CF
7. J.P. Arencibia (R) 1B
8. Rougned Odor (L) 2B
9. Robinson Chirinos (R) C

J.P. Arencibia? I could have sworn that cat played for the Toronto Blue Jays and not Texas

Won't mean shit because the Astro's will just fail to sign both again, or their selections will refuse to sign with the team because they are a bunch of cheap dicks.

This lineup doesn't even look bad.
I guess it's the pitching that is fucking over Texas, because I'd take this lineup over the Jays current lineup any day of the week.

Rangers and Blue Jays game is starting on Fox Sports Southwest. I wish I had some gucci to bet on it.

Rangers got this game today. Colby Lewis is usually reliable.
